"Steve Riley is a talented mime and songwriter who strongly supports
that proposition that "a mime is a terrible thing to waste".. In his
spare time he plays guitar and keyboards and telling lame jokes at
local bars who pay him with sandwiches and beer.
How does Steve fit into the Wooden Space Suit? Laura D'Orsi tells it
best..."my band was due to come on stage after Riley but he was
hopelessly tangled up in guitar and mic' chords, and by the time he got
untangled he just started playing and we couldn't get him to stop so
we just went with it. Turned out he didn't suck.. Anyway he wouldn't
leave so we offered him a job...the rest is Space Suit history."
